Sedatives
To help you relax during your procedure, you may request varying levels of sedation. If you are the sort of person that prefers to avoid trips to the dentist at all costs, this can make the whole experience far more enjoyable.
Oral Sedation
Oral sedation can range from slight relaxation to moderate sedation – where you may begin to slur your words and have memory lapses. Depending on the dosage of sedatives given, some patients may even fall asleep during the procedure.
Oral sedation is administered in the form of a pill, ingested up to an hour before treatment, and will often leave patients feeling drowsy afterwards.
